One of the world's fastest-growing B2C platforms is looking for a Team Lead UX Design to own an entire segment of their product. This is a leadership role with real influence, inside a product organisation that moves quickly, uses data to make decisions, and genuinely values great design.

What You'll Do:

🎨 Lead and grow a design team — manage and mentor four UX designers, provide regular feedback, and play an active role in hiring as the team scales.

🗺 Set the design vision — own the UX direction for the guest experience, balancing near-term delivery with long-term product quality.

🔍 Drive research — lead UX research across the department to surface opportunities and ensure design decisions are rooted in real user needs.

⚡ Stay hands-on — this isn't a purely managerial role. When it matters, you'll be in the work yourself.

📐 Scale the design system — continuously improve how the team operates and contribute to a design system built for a growing product.

🤝 Collaborate across disciplines — work closely with product managers, engineers and other stakeholders to ship experiences that drive both conversion and satisfaction.

The Team:

You'll lead a four-person UX design team sitting within a broader nine-person design function, reporting to the Head of Design. The team is embedded in the guest experience department and has direct impact on how millions of people find and book holiday homes. The wider company spans 700 colleagues from 60+ nations — ambitious, international, and genuinely passionate about the product they're building.

What They're Looking For:

✅ 7+ years of experience in UX or product design with a strong focus on consumer-facing digital products

✅ Experience leading or managing designers, with a genuine interest in developing people

✅ Hands-on UX research experience — both qualitative and quantitative

✅ A portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end product design and strong craft

✅ Experience building and scaling design systems in growing organisations

✅ Expert Figma skills; comfortable using AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code or similar) in your workflow
