Junior Manual QA Engineer

We’re RatePunk — a travel tech startup helping travelers book smarter. Our QA team is growing, and we’re looking for a Junior Manual QA Engineer to support our current QA and help keep up with product growth.

This role is perfect if you want to learn fast in a real product environment, work closely with an experienced QA, and gradually take on more responsibility.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support our QA in daily testing tasks and help keep releases smooth
• Learn how to analyze requirements and understand what needs testing
• Execute test cases and help prepare new ones
• Perform manual testing on web and mobile products
• Help test real user flows (E2E basics)
• Identify bugs, reproduce them, and document clearly
• Write clear bug reports with guidance from the team
• Assist in regression testing before releases
• Help keep test cases and documentation up to date
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers
• Ask questions, learn fast, and gradually take on more ownership

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong motivation to start or grow in QA (Some hands-on experience in QA (at least 6 months), including testing practice from work, internships, or courses)
• Attention to detail and curiosity — you notice when things feel “off”
• You’ve already tried testing in practice — not just theory
• Willingness to learn from feedback and improve quickly
• Good communication skills
• Ability to stay organized and follow structured work

Nice to Have:

• Basic understanding of software testing (courses, self-learning, etc.)
• Any exposure to tools like Postman, bug trackers, or test cases
• Interest in tech products or startups
• Interest in travel or user-facing apps
