Job Description

The Customer Capabilities Tribe comprises approximately 100 colleagues across Denmark, Poland, India, and our newly established branch in Lithuania. We are organised into 10 cross-functional teams delivering end-to-end solutions across key domains, including Fees, Interest, Tax Reporting, and Customer Communication.

This position sits within Customer Communication Management in the Lithuanian branch. We develop banking products and customer experiences at scale, supporting high transaction volumes. Our architecture is based on microservices, and we use platforms and components such as Flowable, SmartComms, and Apryse.

We operate in a matrix set-up with chapters and squads. You will join our human-centred team and be embedded in a squad as the UX/UI specialist, ensuring user needs are represented throughout discovery and delivery. Your closest stakeholders will typically include a Product Owner, Solution Architect, Business Analysts, and a team of developers and software engineers.

You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams across Europe and India, helping to balance user needs, business outcomes, and technical feasibility.

As a Senior UX Designer, you will contribute to the UX direction of our products and support continuous improvement of our design practice across the tribe. You will work end-to-end - from early discovery through delivery - applying a holistic, evidence-informed approach. You can work independently, challenge established assumptions where appropriate, and influence stakeholders across business and technology.

The position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania. We support workplace flexibility through a hybrid model, with at least three days per week in the office. Relocation support is not available for this position.

You will:

  • Contribute to problem framing and prioritisation by incorporating customer and user perspectives from the outset.
  • Develop journey maps and service blueprints to identify gaps and improve cross-channel experiences.
  • Plan and conduct research and synthesise qualitative insights alongside quantitative evidence.
  • Design, prototype, and validate user flows and interfaces (from wireframes to high-fidelity designs).
  • Work closely with engineers to ensure solutions are accessible, feasible, and ready for implementation.
  • Facilitate workshops and design reviews to align stakeholders and support timely decision-making.
  • Incorporate UX writing into your process and contribute to guidelines for clear, customer-focused copy.
  • Promote continuous feedback loops and measurable improvements to the user experience.

About you:

  • 5+ years of experience in UX design
  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in UX Design, Interaction Design, or a related field would be beneficial
  • Experience from financial services and working in agile environments would be beneficial
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using user-centred methods.
  • Strong stakeholder management, comfortable facilitating across customers, business, and engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills, including UX writing as part of your design practice.
  • A high degree of autonomy and proactivity - you take initiative, develop needed skills and share knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Figma, familiarity with HTML, CSS/Sass, and React is beneficial.
  • Strong collaboration skills and advanced proficiency in English.

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 3840 EUR to 5760 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
