Your Mission

We are looking for a Senior AI Full Stack Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of intelligent, production-grade systems across COMO’s all-in-one financial operations stack. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering and applied AI - you will architect full stack applications while driving the integration of AI-powered automation, natural language interfaces, and cognitive analytics into COMO’s products, internal processes, and customer experience.

You will own features end-to-end: from technical design through implementation, testing, and deployment. Your work will span multi-currency account management, payment orchestration, compliance workflows, and intelligent automation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to turn ideas into production-ready systems that deliver tangible business value, using both proprietary and open large language models.

What You’ll Do

The Senior AI Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of intelligent systems across multiple domains.

Area Core Tasks

Full Stack Development

• Build responsive, accessible user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs and scalable backend services that power COMO’s platform.
• Design data models, business logic, and integration layers for complex financial workflows.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Integrate with third-party services, payment networks, and internal microservices.

AI Solution Development

• Design and develop AI models and features using LLMs (e.g., Claude, GPT, Gemini) and open-source models.
• Apply prompt engineering techniques to optimize interaction quality and system performance.
• Integrate AI systems with enterprise platforms and APIs to deliver end-to-end automation.
• Experiment with emerging AI techniques (NLP, computer vision, cognitive technologies) to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Data & Analytics

• Collaborate with data engineers to structure, process, and analyze datasets for AI and machine learning projects.
• Develop dashboards and insights.
• Support the creation of cognitive analytics that surface actionable intelligence from financial data.

DevOps & Quality

• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) across the full stack.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes for both application code and AI models.
• Monitor application and model performance, troubleshoot production issues, and improve reliability.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and cloud environment management.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Collaborate cross-functionally with business units to align projects with strategic goals.
• Promote agile delivery practices and continuous improvement across teams.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and share knowledge to raise the team’s capabilities.
• Stay current with developments in LLMs, NLP, and emerging cognitive technologies.
• Support innovation initiatives within COMO to enhance financial services through AI.

What You Bring

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience

• 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with significant full stack and AI/ML project work.
• Proven track record of delivering production-grade web applications and AI-powered features end-to-end.
• Demonstrated experience with large language models (LLMs) and cognitive system integration.
• Experience leading technical initiatives in agile, cross-functional product teams.
• Preferably within financial services, consulting, or technology environments.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in at least one modern frontend framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
• Solid backend experience with languages such as Go, Typescript, Java, Python, Node.js or similar.
• Strong expertise with LLM development and APIs (Claude, GPT, Gemini) and prompt engineering.
• Working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL stores.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design, GraphQL, or event-driven architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of cloud AI environments (IBM Cloud, Azure AI Services).
• Comfort with Git-based workflows, CI/CD tools, and automated testing frameworks.

• Familiarity with payment protocols (SEPA, SWIFT) or compliance workflows (KYC/AML).
• Exposure to regulatory technology (RegTech) or compliance automation.
• Familiarity with cognitive UX/UI design.
• Certifications in AI/ML, Agile, Data Engineering, or cloud platforms.
• Experience with micro-frontend architectures or design system development.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a public portfolio of work.
