The Project Management Department acts as a centre of excellence, liaising with all departments, coordinating and striving for implementation in agreed budget, time and scope. It is also responsible for the analysis, planning and management of projects related to regulatory, operational and system improvements.

 

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager on a permanent contract to support the team in place.

 

Your main tasks will be to:

 

  • Planning, executing and delivering technical projects from initiation to deployment ensuring they meet business and technical goals

  • Driving technical decisions, reviewing solutions, anticipating technical challenges to prevent bottlenecks

  • Acting as the liaison between engineering, product and non-technical stakeholders to translate complex requirements

  • Identifying project risks and dependencies early and developing mitigation plans

  • Allocating resources, maintaining project budgets and managing timelines

  • Implementing and optimizing Agile, Scrum or Waterfall processes to ensure efficient workflow

 

 

Job requirements:

 

  • Studies in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent with the ability to speak the language of developers

  • Experience in project management or assimilated role within financial services industry

  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical partners

  • Understanding and/or practical exposure to banking activities (Asset Services, Transaction Management and/or Fund Accounting)

  • Strong IT background, deeply technical and focused on “how” technical tasks are done

  • Prince2 / PM / MSP or assimilated certification

  • Experience in Project Management methodologies like Waterfall or Kanban

  • Strong communication, reporting and analytical skills with ability to manage Senior Stakeholders

  • Team spirit; enthusiasm and problem solving attitude

  • Fluent in English and French is considered as an asset

  • Exposure and understanding of project environment and/or demand management with various methodologies (including Agile or distributed Agile)

  • MS Project or Project Management tools knowledge (e.g. Planisware Orchestra, JIRA, ServiceNow)
