We are seeking a Managing Partner / Executive Director – Investments & Capital Formation to help lead the next chapter of FGIPT Capital.

This role is designed for an experienced investment professional who is ready to move beyond a conventional corporate path and take on a broader platform-building mandate. The successful candidate will work closely with shareholders and senior leadership to strengthen our local market position, expand our investment and product capabilities, deepen institutional credibility, and broaden both our deal pipeline and capital base.

This is not a conventional executive hire. It is a leadership opportunity for someone who wants to combine institutional experience with genuine entrepreneurial impact.

• Help shape the next phase of FGIPT Capital as a stronger institutional investment platform in Portugal
• Originate, assess, structure, and execute attractive investment opportunities
• Expand the firm’s capital formation capabilities and investor relationships
• Build and deepen connections with family offices, private banks, intermediaries, investors, and strategic partners
• Contribute to the development of new product lines and broader platform capabilities
• Represent the firm credibly within the Portuguese and wider European investment ecosystem
• Support governance, investment discipline, and long-term strategic development

We are looking for a senior individual with a combination of the following:

• Strong experience in investment management, private equity, venture capital, private banking, asset management, investment banking, or related fields
• A credible network in Portugal and/or Europe across investors, intermediaries, corporates, and strategic stakeholders
• Ability to originate opportunities, relationships, partnerships, and/or investable transactions
• Strong commercial judgment, investment capability, and strategic maturity
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the credibility to operate as a partner, not only as an employee
• Ability to work within a disciplined, professional, and regulated environment
• Fluency in English required; Portuguese strongly preferred

• An already-built platform with infrastructure, local operating base, and international reach
• Strong strategic positioning in cross-border investment and related ecosystems
