Senior Power BI Developer

As a Senior Power BI Developer you will:

• Collaborate with analytics and business stakeholders to turn data into meaningful insights that support decision-making and process improvement initiatives.
• Build, enhance, and support dynamic Power BI reports and dashboards that track performance indicators and enable data-driven actions.
• Create efficient data models using dimensional (star) schemas and develop robust DAX calculations to support reliable reporting.
• Apply Power BI modeling standards and best practices to ensure accuracy, consistency, and performance across datasets.
• Gather and interpret business requirements, transforming them into scalable and user-friendly Power BI solutions.
• Manage access control and data protection within Power BI environments by implementing governance guidelines and security configurations.
• Perform data validation and quality checks, configure Row-Level Security, and adhere to internal development frameworks, including documentation, naming standards, and deployment processes.
• Support and enable end users by delivering guidance, knowledge sharing, and training on Power BI and self-service reporting capabilities.

What you need to succeed:

• Solid hands-on experience delivering Power BI solutions, with strong proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M) for data transformation and calculations.
• Demonstrated ability to design engaging, user-driven reports and dashboards, leveraging features such as drill-through navigation, bookmarks, and interactive visual elements.
• Practical experience integrating Power BI with a variety of data platforms, including relational databases, cloud-based storage solutions, enterprise systems, and APIs.
• Deep understanding of how filter context operates within Power BI visuals and the impact it has on calculations, aggregations, and data interpretation.
• Proven capability to improve report efficiency and responsiveness when working with high-volume or complex datasets.
• Strong background in data analysis and insight generation, ideally within Supply Chain, Operations, or comparable business domains.
