Network Engineer

Your Role

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, secure, and scalable network solutions across on-premise and cloud environments.

Working closely with DevOps, platform engineering, and security teams, you will contribute to building the next-generation infrastructure layer supporting containerized applications.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

• Design network architectures for container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.)
• Define IP addressing, segmentation, and routing strategies
• Design ingress/egress traffic flows (load balancers, API gateways, service mesh)
• Ensure secure connectivity between services, clusters, and external systems

Implementation & Operations

• Deploy and configure container networking components (CNI, ingress controllers, etc.)
• Integrate networking with enterprise systems (firewalls, DNS, proxies, load balancers)
• Manage hybrid connectivity (on-premise ↔ cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance

Security

• Implement network security policies (micro-segmentation, zero-trust principles)
• Support compliance and risk assessment activities
• Ensure secure communication flows within distributed environments

Collaboration

• Work closely with DevOps/SRE teams to integrate networking into CI/CD pipelines
• Support developers on service-to-service communication best practices
• Contribute to standards, documentation, and continuous improvement

Your Profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in network engineering
• Strong experience with enterprise networking and hybrid infrastructures
• Solid understanding of container networking (Kubernetes / OpenShift)
• Experience with firewalls, routing, segmentation, and load balancing
• Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Comfortable working in complex, evolving environments

Nice to have:

• Experience with Extreme Networks technologies
• Knowledge of KVM or virtualization environments
• Experience in Agile / scaled Agile environments
