.NET Backend Developer – Fintech (Stockholm, On‑site)

We’re working with a fast‑growing fintech company that operates at the heart of the open banking ecosystem, building API‑driven infrastructure used by financial services, ERP systems, and accounting platforms across the Nordics and Europe.

This is a permanent .NET Backend Developer role based in a Stockholm office, joining a team that’s expanding due to continued success and growth.

What you’ll work on

• Getting deep into an existing, production‑grade .NET microservices platform to understand how the system works end‑to‑end
• Working across multiple services deployed on Azure using Docker & Kubernetes
• Contributing to both maintenance and new feature development as part of a cross‑functional team
• Gradually taking on more complex development challenges as you build platform knowledge
• Playing a role in evolving the system architecture, with clear opportunities to grow into architectural responsibility over time
• Supporting a scaling engineering environment as the company expands into new markets

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years’ experience with modern .NET (open to both early‑career developers and senior engineers)
• Experience working with APIs and microservices
• Experience in Azure environments
• Comfortable working with containerised applications (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Curious, driven, and eager to learn in a startup‑style environment
• Able to grasp complex fintech and payment flows
• Swedish speaking
• Financial / banking experience is a plus, but not required
• Interest in AI‑assisted development is a bonus (the team actively embraces AI tools)
