We’re currently looking for an experienced Backend Developer (Node.js) to join our growing team and contribute to high-impact projects.

About the Role

At Machinarium, you’ll be part of a team transforming the way businesses operate—developing AI-based e-commerce and fintech solutions that are smart, scalable, and future-ready.

You’ll work on multiple systems, develop new features, and improve existing ones based on business and analyst requirements. The primary focus will be on Node.js, Go, and PHP (Optional) based backend projects.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 5 years of hands-on development experience with Node.js,
• Familiarity with NoSQL technologies such as Elasticsearch, Redis, and MongoDB,
• Experience working on high-traffic, scalable web systems,
• Strong skills in code optimization, debugging, and producing technical documentation,
• Proficiency in Git version control (especially with branching and merging workflows),
• Experience with AI-powered development tools (e.g., code suggestions, refactoring, automation) is required,
• Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code is second nature to you,
• Ability to read and research technical documentation in English,
• Bonus: Experience with PHP (Laravel) is a good plus.
