We are looking for a Product Manager with a proven track record in driving product roadmaps, balancing strategic priorities with customer needs and business impact. The role will be collaborating with our Product Team working with talented designers and product managers to create great user experiences. You will bring the product vision to life through clear and concise issue descriptions, agile backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and seamless cooperation with design, QA, and developers. The team you will be joining consists of passionate, talented, and creative people looking to revolutionize the way rich content like videos, games, and simulations are created and experienced in the future.


To effectively prioritize and create actionable issues, you will gather insights through interviews, surveys, market research, and collaboration with stakeholders. Success in this role requires curiosity, quick learning, and the ability to apply new technologies and insights to address customer challenges. Creativity and an innovative mindset, combined with a data-driven approach, are essential for delivering impactful solutions.

Please note this is a hybrid position based out of our office in either Tromsø or Oslo (optional). 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Exercise curiosity and empathy in order to build products that our customers love.
  • Initiate and involve customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders in user empathy and discovery sessions to better understand their challenges.
  • Solicit inputs for your roadmap by collaborating with engineering, marketing, sales, customer engagement, and other stakeholders.
  • Define a vision for your products and/or features that reinforce a persuasive vision of the future of learning.
  • Create strategy for your product or features which identifies market opportunities, grows the product portfolio, and drives the go-to-market execution.
  • Actively develop and maintain a data-driven product roadmap to deliver on the product vision and strategy.
  • Define end-to-end tactics, milestones and success metrics that are easily understood and measurable.
  • In collaboration with engineering and design, translate the product vision and roadmap into feature level details and user stories with success criteria.
  • Manage the impact of scope change and priority with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure products are delivered on schedule and with high quality results.
  • Create the necessary artifacts to communicate initiative goals, scope, solution proposals, and product status effectively.
  • Lead the complete product development life cycle in an agile environment from developing use cases to product delivery in market, to post release and end of life.
  • Own and define the full product lifecycle as a subject matter expert regarding assigned problems and their resulting solutions.
  • Participate and contribute to team rituals (Sprint Planning, Retros, Sprint Demos, Stand-ups).
  • Act as the ‘evangelist’ of your product features, internally and externally.
  • Represent the 'voice of our customers' to internal teams.
  • Clearly communicate the larger product vision and specific product requirements across the organization, from senior executives to agile team members.
  • Enable solutions engineers and account executives on product values and features to facilitate great demonstrations for prospects, customers, and partners.


Skills/Competencies:

  • A proven track record in driving high-level product roadmaps balancing strategic priorities with customer needs and business impact. Preferably over 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience managing the full product lifecycle.
  • Strong cross discipline collaborative skills.
  • Strong ability in fostering innovation and collaboration across functions.
  • Skilled in presenting roadmaps and market analyses. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to define and implement product strategies aligned with business goals, market opportunities, and long-term growth objectives.
  • Preferably someone with a deep understanding of market dynamics within education and technology.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed assigned targets, budgets and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Suggested Qualifications/Experience:

MBA and Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields of study.
