We are seeking an Intermediate Software Developer to support application development and enhancement initiatives within a .NET environment. The role involves full-cycle development, including coding, testing, debugging, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality web-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance application code using .NET technologies in a Visual Studio environment
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of application issues
  • Collaborate with design teams to refine and recommend implementation approaches
  • Work closely with QA teams to identify defects and implement fixes
  • Develop applications integrated with relational databases (Oracle/SQL Server)
  • Contribute to and maintain reusable software components
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
  • Ensure applications meet performance, security, and accessibility standards (WCAG/OWASP)
  • Document code changes and maintain technical documentation
  • Support automated build, packaging, and deployment processes

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • Experience developing applications in a three-tier architecture with load balancing
  • Strong hands-on experience with . NET Framework (4.0+), ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework, LINQ
  • Relational database development (Oracle and/or SQL Server) and Tables, stored procedures, triggers
  • Front-end development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular, jQuery
  • Ability to analyze requirements and produce functional specifications for enhancements
  • Experience with C#, Web Forms, WCF/WF and XML
  • Experience building web applications for multi-browser compatibility
  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.0+ accessibility standards and OWASP security best practices
  • Experience with Windows and Linux/UNIX environments
  • Proficiency in tools such as MS Office, Visio, MS Project, SharePoint

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience working with source control systems
  • Experience diagnosing issues without direct server access
  • Exposure to enterprise-level deployment environments
  • Experience contributing to shared/reusable code libraries
