Senior Project Manager

Position Title: Senior Project Manager

Duration: April 13, 2026 to April 9, 2027

Work Model: Hybrid (2 days per week in office)

Rate: $90 to $105 per hour

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and support multiple concurrent projects within a dynamic banking environment. This role will oversee two parallel initiatives, ensuring successful delivery across scope, timeline, and budget while collaborating with cross functional teams and stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Project Manager who thrives in fast paced environments and has a strong background in business banking and technology driven projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project delivery including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies

• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to define and align on project objectives

• Monitor progress and proactively address risks, issues, and dependencies

• Provide regular status updates to senior leadership, including key milestones and risk assessments

• Manage project resources effectively to ensure optimal utilization

• Facilitate collaboration across cross functional teams including business, technology, and operations

• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and align with business goals

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including decisions, risks, and scope changes

• Ensure adherence to internal policies and project management best practices

Must Have

• 10-15 years of Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a Project Manager role

• Experience working within Personal and Business Banking or a similar business banking environment

• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies

• Experience managing small to medium sized projects with combined budgets up to $5 million +

• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across both technical and non technical audiences

• Strong problem solving skills with a proactive approach to risk management

• Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms

• PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred

Nice to Have

• Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated environments

• Experience delivering projects that span both business and technology domains

• Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment
