API Integration Engineer (AI/LLM)

Who You Are

• Specialist in system integration, connecting services, platforms, and data sources
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM services into real-world applications
• Strong understanding of making AI solutions reliable within enterprise systems
• Proficiency in Python and/or Ruby for backend and integration work
• Solid experience designing and consuming REST APIs
• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar tool-use/context frameworks
• Strong grasp of workflows, data flow, and service orchestration
• Ability to troubleshoot cross-system issues
• Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, production-ready code
• Effective collaboration and communication with product, platform, and data teams
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with integration platforms or middleware (iPaaS)
• MySQL or other relational database knowledge
• ETL/data pipeline experience
• Cloud integration experience (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Familiarity with webhooks, queues, and event-driven systems
  
  

What You Will Do

• Integrate LLM and AI services into internal and external systems
• Build and maintain API-based integrations between AI services and business platforms
• Implement MCP or similar frameworks to enable AI tool usage and contextual workflows
• Connect AI systems with SaaS tools, databases, and enterprise applications
• Design scalable integration architectures for AI-powered workflows
• Develop data exchange pipelines between AI models and operational systems
• Ensure reliability, security, and performance of integrations
• Troubleshoot and optimize cross-system integrations
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to deploy AI integrations into production
• Continuously improve integration patterns and automation
