AI Agent Developer (SR)

Finch is a US-based digital marketing agency with a fully distributed team across the US, LATAM, Europe, and Asia. We're building an internal AI agentic operations system and looking for an AI Agent Developer to join our cross-functional AI Ops team.

This is not a traditional software development role. You'll take ownership of agentic development using Claude Code and Cursor, working alongside a small team of non-developers who are actively building AI agents. Your job is to drive development forward, bring technical depth, and help the team move faster in a high-autonomy, experiment-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and iterate on AI agents that support internal operations at Finch
• Lead agentic development using Claude Code and Cursor, primarily in Python with some TypeScript
• Collaborate closely with a small cross-functional team, removing technical blockers and accelerating delivery
• Contribute technical judgment to architecture and tooling decisions
• Help the team develop better practices for AI-assisted development

Requirements

We're looking for:

• At least 3 years of experience in software development
• Demonstrated experience building AI agents or agentic systems (not just using AI tools)
• Proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development environments
• Experience integrating LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, or similar)
• Familiarity with TypeScript (Advantage)
• Professional working proficiency in English
• Based in Latin America
• Experience developing agents or automation tools for advertising platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, or TikTok Ads (Advantage)
