About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior System Design Engineer to strengthen our engineering team. In this role, you will design, implement, secure, and maintain complex network and security infrastructures, with a strong emphasis on Fortinet technologies. You work closely with architects, engineers, and operational teams to ensure robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure solutions.

This role is ideal for a senior engineer who thrives in a high‑impact environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and combines strong design skills with hands‑on implementation experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate technical and business requirements into robust system designs.
• Evaluate design options, benefits, and trade‑offs, ensuring compliance with architectural standards.
• Support deployment activities and validate that implementations meet design and performance expectations.
• Drive technology evolution, capacity management, performance optimization, and other engineering improvements.
• Innovate and propose enhancements to existing systems, processes, or services.
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Lead complex incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Participate in on‑call duties for the systems you are responsible for.

Technical Expertise

We are specifically looking for senior‑level expertise in:

Fortinet Security & Networking (core focus)

• FortiGate
• FortiManager (administration & policy management)
• SD‑WAN
• IPsec VPN
• Advanced troubleshooting & debugging

Network Engineering

• Strong hands‑on experience with BGP
• Solid understanding of routing, security, and infrastructure design principles

System Engineering

• Minimum 5 years of experience in system software, IT infrastructure, and engineering services
• Experience with design, validation, optimization, and incident/problem resolution
