PROJECT MANAGER - GEEL (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITION

We're currently recruiting a Project Manager to join an established provider of technical solutions, delivering projects that range from standard products to fully customised, end-to-end installations. With a strong combination of in-house engineering expertise, experienced technical teams, and dedicated service support, the organisation is known for delivering high-quality and cost-effective solutions tailored to client needs.

Projects are managed across the full lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to installation and commissioning on-site, supporting a diverse international customer base across multiple industries.

In this role, you will act as the central point of contact throughout the execution of projects, ensuring effective coordination between internal teams, clients, and external partners. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, monitor, and control project budgets, ensuring costs remain within approved limits and identifying deviations at an early stage
• Create detailed project plans, define key milestones, allocate resources effectively, and continuously update timelines to reflect project progress
• Track project performance against scope, budget, and deadlines; proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies
• Respond effectively to unforeseen challenges, coordinating with stakeholders to implement practical and timely solutions
• Organise and lead meetings with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure alignment on objectives, deliverables, and timelines
• Maintain clear and accurate project documentation, report on progress, and ensure timely follow-up of action points
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to facilitate smooth collaboration
• Ensure clear, structured, and proactive communication across all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Previous experience in a similar project management role is preferred
• Solid technical understanding and the ability to quickly grasp complex systems
• Well-organised, structured, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Analytical mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
• Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is an advantage
