AI Engineer

One of our clients in Helsinki is looking for an AI Engineer to bridge the gap between data infrastructure and model production.

This is initially a 1-year position with likely extensions, and the role must be based on-site in Helsinki.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Data Infrastructure: Design, build, optimize, and maintain automated data pipelines and data lakes.

• Tooling & Applications: Develop AI/ML based tools and applications such as detection systems, chatbot, demonstrators.

• SOTA Research: Stay at the forefront of the field by researching emerging technologies and evaluating state-of-the-art (SOTA) machine learning methods for practical integration.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Master or PhD in computer science, mathematics, statistics, computational linguistics, or equivalent experience.

· Strong in Python, SQL, and big data tools (Spark/Kafka), CI/CD for ML and cloud orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker).

· 2+ years in ML Engineering, MLOps, or Data Engineering.

· Solid understanding of data privacy principles (GDPR) and strong security mindset.

· Candidates with ICPC, IOI/IMO, IOAI and other international competition in computer science, machine learning, and AI, etc. are highly preferred.
