We are looking for:

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join a Telematics team developing innovative software solutions for the automotive industry. In this role, you will contribute to building connected-car technologies that integrate vehicles into the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem, working with advanced concepts such as Telematics, 5G, and V2X (vehicle-to-everything).

What you will do:

• Analyze and understand customer and internal software specifications.
• Design software components based on requirements and the existing architecture.
• Develop and maintain embedded software components using C++ on Linux.
• Perform debugging and root cause analysis, implement fixes, and verify solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, functional testing, and unit testing activities.
• Analyze existing embedded software to add features, fix bugs, and optimize performance.
• Propose optimal technical solutions and contribute to improving development KPIs.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Support the identification and resolution of product or performance issues.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 4+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong knowledge of C++ with at least 3+ years of experience.
• Experience with Embedded Linux development.
• Experience developing embedded applications.
• Knowledge of inter-process communication, multithreading, and socket communication.
• Good understanding of software development processes and embedded operating systems.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to have:

• Experience with TCP/UDP protocols.
• Knowledge of Unified Modeling Language (UML).
• Experience working in Agile environments (SCRUM, SAFe).
• Experience with Linux Kernel development.
