Alignment Engineer

TPF Türkiye is seeking an Alignment Engineer to strengthen our engineering and design operations. This role will play a key part in the design and coordination of railway and highway infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop horizontal and vertical alignment designs for railway and highway projects in accordance with project requirements and applicable technical specifications.
• Perform geometric design in line with international standards and project guidelines.
• Create and manage alignment models, ensuring technical accuracy and design consistency.
• Review, revise, and validate design outputs based on project needs and technical feedback.
• Monitor and coordinate the drafting process related to alignment works, ensuring accuracy and compliance of drawings.
• Support the preparation of technical reports, drawings, and design documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical input when required.
• Discuss and develop technical solutions in coordination with the client and project stakeholders.
• Ensure the accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of all assigned design work.
• Support tender and proposal preparation processes by providing technical inputs and preliminary design data when required.
• Review tender documents and technical specifications to assess alignment-related requirements, constraints, and potential risks during the bidding phase.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in alignment design.
• Experience in using OpenRoads Designer and other Bentley Suite applications.
• Specific experience in railway or highway design projects is required.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Spanish is an asset but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive approach to work.
