System Engineer

ISS International Spa is looking for a System Engineer. The System Engineer is responsible for coordinating, checking, and supervising all multidisciplinary 3D modelling activities to ensure full compliance with project requirements, contractual obligations, and Client specifications. The role guarantees coherent information flow among engineering disciplines and ensures the technical quality and schedule adherence of the 3D model.

Responsibilities:

Multidisciplinary Coordination :

• Ensure the proper exchange of information among all engineering disciplines involved in 3D modelling (e.g., piping, Structural, electrical, Instrumentation, Telecom).
• Supervise and validate 3D model correctness, checking conformity with the approved schedule and project requirements.
• Ensure the model meets Client requirements and is consistent with technical standards.
• Lead internal multidisciplinary 3D model reviews.
• Conduct and support Client model review meetings, representing the project’s technical consistency.
• Collaborate with the Technical Manager (TM), PSLs to resolve inconsistencies and technical issues identified during reviews (Tags).
• Organize internal/formal meetings to assess model status, identify gaps, and define corrective actions.
• Ensure quality checks and Progress tracking of design activities performed in the 3D environment.
• Provide technical support to the Technical Manager based on expertise and lessons learned from past projects.
  
  

Technical Requirements:

• Engineering background with min. 12 yrs of experience in Oil & Gas Engineering and 3D model participation in client reviews
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary engineering workflows in 3D environments and familiarity with Hexagon S3D software.
• Familiarity with Client requirements (Qatar Gas, ADNOC, Aramco etc), project specifications, and contractual engineering standards.
• Strong communication skills
