Engineer - Cloud Security

We are seeking a talented and driven Cloud Security Engineer to join our growing Cybersecurity Practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work on securing enterprise-scale cloud environments across public, private, and hybrid platforms, while collaborating with high-performing cloud, DevOps, and security teams.

In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and enhancing cloud security frameworks that protect critical systems and data, while enabling secure cloud adoption aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do:

• Assess cloud architectures and identify security risks, recommending scalable and effective controls
• Design and implement cloud security solutions across compute, storage, network, and platform services
• Establish and maintain cloud security governance, policies, and best practices
• Monitor cloud environments for threats, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations, and support incident response
• Strengthen Identity & Access Management (IAM) with a focus on least privilege and secure authentication
• Ensure compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) deployments (DevSecOps)
• Work with leading security platforms such as Microsoft Defender, Prisma Cloud, and native cloud tools
• Develop clear documentation, reports, and security dashboards for stakeholders
• Promote security awareness and best practices across engineering and development teams

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security, cybersecurity, or cloud infrastructure
• Strong expertise in IAM, network security, encryption, and cloud monitoring tools
• Experience with Azure, OCI, AWS, or GCP environments
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, ARM/Bicep) and DevSecOps practices
• Solid understanding of security frameworks such as CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, or CSA

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Security Professional
• AWS / GCP or vendor-neutral cloud security certifications (CSA, GIAC, CompTIA, ISC2)
