As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will help build the next generation of AI-powered enterprise software. In this role, you will work full stack, collaborating with experienced engineers to move ideas from concept to production - driving meaningful impact across SAP’s global ecosystem.

Description

We are looking for builders with strong technical foundations, curiosity about AI, and the entrepreneurial spirit to see ideas through. You don't need to be an expert in everything - you need the drive to learn, the creativity to solve ambiguous problems, and the ownership mindset to make things happen.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop full stack AI/ML solutions—from backend services, code security and generative AI capabilities to frontend experiences that users love.
• Own features end-to-end: design the solution, implement the logic, and iterate based on user feedback
• Experiment rapidly and learn - your ideas shape what gets built next
• Collaborate with senior engineers to learn best practices in system design and scalability
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver features aligned with business goals
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3-8 years of experience building end-to-end features (backend, frontend, or both) - internships, personal projects, and startup work count
• Strong programming skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, React, Java, or Go)
• Hands-on experience or genuine interest in Agentic AI, LLMs, or data science - you're excited to learn and experiment
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices
• You move fast, iterate, and aren't afraid to challenge assumptions. You see problems and ship solutions
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in diverse teams
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI frameworks (LangGraph, Hugging Face, LlamaIndex),
• Personal or open-source projects that showcase your technical curiosity
• A problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies
