Automotive Sales Manager (Hunter) – Europe

We are scaling into new automotive and OEM segments - and we are looking for people who can open doors, not just manage them.


Role Description

We are looking for an Automotive Sales Manager (Hunter profile) to drive new business development across Europe.

This is not an account management role. Your primary mission is to:

  • Identify, approach, and win new customers in the automotive and OEM ecosystem
  • Build your own pipeline from scratch and convert opportunities into revenue
  • Navigate complex B2B sales cycles with engineering, procurement, and executive stakeholders
  • Turn customer needs into commercial opportunities together with product and R&D teams

You will work closely with product owners and technical teams to bring solutions to market and close high-impact deals.


What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Generate and close new business opportunities in automotive/OEM segment
  • Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline (prospecting → closing)
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers (engineering, sourcing, C-level)
  • Lead commercial negotiations and drive deals to closure
  • Gather market insights and contribute to product strategy
  • Represent the company in meetings, events, and industry engagements


What We Expect
  • Minimum 2+ years experience in automotive or B2B technical sales
  • Proven hunter mindset - you create opportunities, not wait for them
  • Ability to demonstrate real sales success stories (closed deals, revenue impact, complex wins)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfort working with technical products and engineering teams
  • High ownership and drive - ability to work independently


Nice to Have
  • Experience in telematics, IoT, automotive electronics, or OEM ecosystem
  • Network within automotive suppliers, OEMs, or mobility companies


Selection Process (Important)

As part of the process, candidates will be asked to:

  • Present 2–3 real sales cases they personally closed
  • Explain their approach to building pipeline from zero
  • Demonstrate how they handle rejection, long cycles, and technical stakeholders
