The Role – Project Manager Circularity

As a Project Manager Circularity, your main objective is to support clients in successfully delivering circularity projects, with the ultimate goal of becoming 100% waste-free. You will guide organizations through this transformation, ensuring that sustainability ambitions are translated into tangible, measurable results.

You act as the central point of coordination across multiple stakeholders and projects, balancing strategic goals with day-to-day execution.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple circularity projects simultaneously, each at different stages of maturity;
• Guide clients (including large educational institutions and airports) in their journey toward zero waste;
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring strong alignment across all levels of the organization;
• Translate sustainability strategies into concrete implementation plans and operational improvements;
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery;
• Monitor progress, analyze performance, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement;
• Drive initiatives such as waste reduction programs, process optimization, and circular resource management;
• Ensure long-term client success by embedding sustainable practices into daily operations.

Your Profile

• At least two years xperience in project management, preferably within sustainability, operations, or complex organizational environments;
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence at multiple levels;
• Demonstrated ability to manage several projects simultaneously, each with different timelines and priorities;
• Structured and organized, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability;
• Able to translate strategic ambitions into practical execution;
• Affinity with sustainability, circular economy, or waste management is highly preferred;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Fluency in Dutch (mandatory requirement).
• Good command of English.
