Backend Software Developer - AI-First

We are an early-stage startup based in Lisbon building something ambitious. We move fast, we think in systems, and we believe AI is not the future of coding. It's the present.

What we're looking for

We need a developer who has already made the shift, or is actively making it, toward coding primarily with AI tools. Someone who uses AI not as a crutch but as a multiplier, to move faster, think bigger, and ship better.

You don't need to be a senior engineer. You need to be smart, proactive, and genuinely hungry to build. Backend experience is a plus, but your mindset matters more than your stack.

You'll be joining a small team where your work will be visible, your ideas will matter, and there is no hiding behind process or bureaucracy.

• Have real experience building with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot, v0, or similar) and consider this your primary way of working
• Have backend experience, even if self-taught or from personal projects
• Are comfortable with ambiguity and can figure things out without a detailed playbook
• Understand how early-stage startups work and find that exciting rather than stressful
• Are based in Lisbon or willing to work on-site/hybrid from Lisbon
