Java Developer

We are looking for a hands-on Java Developer who loves programming, architecting solutions, and solving complex integration problems. The job is primarily hybrid. We expect the candidates to be in Istanbul.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s or PhD degree is a plus
• 4+ years of hands-on Java development experience
• 4+ years of hands-on PL/SQL development experience, with strong expertise in Oracle Forms–based processes and enterprise-level Oracle applications
• Experience with BPM tools—particularly IBM BAW (Business Automation Workflow), including workflow design and process-driven development—is a plus.
• Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Session, and Spring Data, is a plus.
• Experience in the banking domain is a plus.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, JPA, Hibernate is a plus.
• Experience with Git (or Maven)
• Experience with unit testing frameworks
• Experience in RESTful API design, SOAP, and XML-based integrations
• Experience working on international projects or in multinational environments is highly preferred
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a solid understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
• Ability to communicate clearly with peers, Business Analysts, and Subject Matter Experts
• Ability to take ownership of tasks, meet deadlines, anticipate risks, and raise issues proactively
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
