Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and self-driven Senior SDET to lead quality engineering efforts across complex, fast evolving applications. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, hands on automation expertise, and the ability to work independently as a sole QA owner while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing
• Perform end-to-end testing of multilingual (English/Arabic) applications ensuring accuracy, alignment and localization quality
• Perform API testing using Postman and implement automated scripts
• Build robust UI automation using Playwright
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)
• Manage source code using GitLab branching strategies
• Configure and maintain test reporting dashboards using Allure TestOps
• Ensure high quality releases through functional, regression, and exploratory testing
• Act as the sole QA owner for projects when required, driving quality end-to-end
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders
• Identify risks early and provide actionable insights for quality improvement

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience in testing multilingual applications
• Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman)
• Strong experience in UI automation using Playwright
• Proficiency in GitLab and branching strategies
• Experience integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Allure TestOps for reporting and insights
• Ability to work independently as a sole tester in a project
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Good to Have

• Experience testing AI applications (chatbots, RAG systems, knowledge graphs)
• Understanding of Vector Databases
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Exposure to testing AI/ML driven or data intensive systems
