About the Role

We are seeking a Kanban Expert / Flow Master a fundamentally non-Scrum role built on radical ownership and coaching, not commanding to own the flow of a pod, drive data-driven decisions using real metrics (Cycle Time, Lead Time, Throughput, WIP, Flow Efficiency, Blocker Age) as daily diagnostic language, and eliminate impediments with urgency and zero tolerance for inertia. You must bring deep, demonstrable Kanban experience designing, operating, and evolving systems in real delivery environments, along with mastery of GitHub Projects (or equivalent), CI/CD and deployment pipeline understanding, release management and cross-team dependency coordination, practical knowledge of DoR/DoD and IT risk compliance, and an AI-native mindset that naturally integrates AI as a thinking partner for flow analytics, board management, pattern detection, and decision support not a novelty. Radical transparency is non-negotiable: the board speaks for itself, problems are never hidden.

NOTE: The Flow Master role is built entirely on Kanban principles. This is not a Scrum role with a new name. it is a fundamentally different operating model. The candidate must demonstrate:

MUST HAVE:

Radical Ownership: Does not wait for instructions owns the flow of their pod

Coaching, not commanding guides the team to discover their own optimal rhythm, never imposes it

Data-driven Mindset: Every decision and every improvement conversation start from real metrics, not opinions

Urgency on Blockers: Impediments are eliminated with precision and speed; tolerance for inertia is zero

Radical Transparency: The board speaks for itself problems are never hidden

AI-native thinking naturally integrates AI into daily work sees AI as a thinking partner for analysis, pattern detection, and decision support, not as a novelty or afterthought

Deep, demonstrable Kanban expertise at team level not theoretical certification, but proven experience designing, operating, and evolving Kanban systems in real delivery environments

Mastery of flow metrics: Cycle Time, Lead Time, Throughput, WIP, Flow Efficiency, Blocker Age used as a daily diagnostic language, not periodic reporting

Experience managing boards in GitHub Projects (or equivalent, with willingness to migrate)

Solid understanding of CI/CD and deployment pipelines (does not need to execute, but must understand the flow)

Experience in release management and cross-team dependency coordination

Practical knowledge of Definition of Ready / Definition of Done and IT Risk compliance

Proficiency in AI-assisted delivery workflows: demonstrated experience using AI tools for flow analytics, board management, reporting, or decision support in a delivery context
