Network Field Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Field Engineer to provide onsite support for a scheduled IOS upgrade activity.

Scope of Work

The engineer will provide onsite hands-and-feet support during the IOS upgrade activity, including:

• Being available onsite throughout the maintenance window
• Providing console access to remote network team for upgrade execution
• Assisting with device connectivity and troubleshooting during the upgrade
• Supporting reboot activities and monitoring device status post-upgrade
• Performing basic physical checks (cabling, power, link status) if required
• Coordinating with the remote team to ensure smooth execution of the change
• Reporting any issues/escalations in real-time

Mandatory Requirements

• Laptop with charger
• Console cable (RJ45/USB as applicable)
• Mobile phone with active internet connection (hotspot capability)
• Basic understanding of network devices and IOS upgrades

Required Skills

• Experience in network support / field services
• Familiarity with console access and troubleshooting
• Ability to follow remote instructions from Network/SME teams
• Strong communication and coordination skills
