Job Description - Roles and Responsibilities

Context of the project:

We are looking for an experienced Medior developer (3-5 years) in OpenText Exstream to join our teams as part of a CCM project. The successful candidate will complement a team of 3 Opentext Exstream developers working on template development and solution integration within our existing infrastructure. This position requires an immediate start date, with a mission extending until the end of 2026.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding customer requirements and finalizing the input file structure.
• Mastery of different output formats (AFP, PDF, HTML5, LIVE, Empower).
• Design of templates in the 3 languages FR/NL and DE.
• Creating unit test cases for unit testing/integration and UAT testing.
• Effective performance of quality assurance (QA).
• Adherence to best practices in development and unit testing (agile approach).
• Efficient review of daily deliverables.
• Participation in project status meetings with the team.

Technical Skills Required:

• Full document lifecycle experience and in-depth knowledge of OpenText Exstream.
• Experience with OpenText Exstream Live, Empower, and Content Author.
• Proficient in OpenText Exstream, Command Center, Communication Builder, Communication Server, OTDS, WorkShop, StoryBoard, ReTouch, Supervisor.
• Programming or scripting skills (Java, shell script, Cobol, .net).
• Excellent debugging and error resolution capabilities.

Experience:

• The candidate must have 3-5 years of experience in the field, with proven expertise on Exstream web applications (Workshop; Content Author, etc.) and Communication Builder, which are indispensable for our project.

Skills & Requirements

• Debugging & Error Resolution Excellent debugging and error resolution capabilities on FR/NL/DE templates.
• OpenText Exstream Tools Experience with OpenText Exstream Live, Empower, and Content Author.
• OpenText Suite Mastery Maîtrise d'OpenText Exstream, Command Center, Communication Builder, Communication Server, OTDS, WorkShop, StoryBoard, ReTouch, Supervisor.
• Languages Level of French C2 or English C2.
• Programming & Scripting Skills in Java, Shell, Cobol, .NET.
• Document Lifecycle In-depth knowledge of the document lifecycle.
• Communication Types Knowledge of different types of communications (letters, emails, etc.) provided by a DSO.
• Customer Interaction Experience in direct communication with business customers.
