Cyber Security Engineer

We are currently supporting a major international client in strengthening their Security team and are looking for a Vulnerability Management Expert to join the program.

You will take ownership of identifying, assessing, and driving the remediation of vulnerabilities across a complex and evolving IT environment, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies (Cloud and Endpoints).

This is a highly visible role where you’ll work closely with technical teams (network, infrastructure, cloud, applications) and senior stakeholders to ensure the organisation’s security posture remains robust and aligned with group policies.


Key responsibilities

Vulnerability management

  • Run vulnerability scans using tools such as Qualys or Rapid7
  • Analyse, prioritise, and classify vulnerabilities across the environment
  • Produce both technical reports and executive-level summaries (dashboards, presentations, briefings)
  • Define and recommend remediation strategies aligned with global security standards


Operational coordination

  • Work closely with infrastructure, network, cloud, and application teams to drive remediation actions
  • Track progress and ensure timely resolution of identified risks
  • Validate fixes through testing, audits, and follow-up assessments


Stakeholder management and communication

  • Act as a key point of contact between Getronics Security teams and the client’s technical teams
  • Engage with senior stakeholders (CISO, CIO, IT leadership) to present risks, action plans, and outcomes
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in security processes and compliance practices


Continuous improvement and innovation

  • Stay up to date with the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies (EDR, SIEM, PAM, NDR, etc.)
  • Proactively suggest improvements and contribute to the client’s cybersecurity roadmap



What we’re looking for

Technical experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on vulnerability management
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Qualys or Rapid7
  • Solid understanding of security solutions (EDR, SIEM, PAM, NDR)
  • Strong experience with Microsoft environments (Azure, Cloud, Endpoints)
  • Good knowledge of infrastructure, networking, and virtualisation
  • Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI-DSS is a plus


Soft skills

  • Strong ownership and ability to lead initiatives across technical teams
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
  • Able to navigate complex environments and shifting priorities
  • Well-organised, detail-oriented, and results-driven


Languages

  • French: Native or fluent
  • English: Professional level (able to work in international environments)
