Senior AI & Fullstack Developer

Job Description

We are looking for experienced full-stack software developers with experience in development using Java, Spring Boot, Spring and TypeScript, as well as experience working with public clouds, particularly GCP or Azure. If you are also experienced in AI and agent development here is the right place to work.

Developing and maintaining robust systems to support our applications. We generally adhere to the ‘you build it, you run it’ principle, so it is important to us that you also have experience in operations or with DevOps concepts.

This role offers you the opportunity to work on complex services and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to successfully deliver projects for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on engineering: You’re not above getting stuck in with the development work – from proofs of concept right through to reference implementations using standard tech stacks (e.g. Java/Spring Boot, TypeScript/React/Angular/Vue).
• Development and maintenance of microservice architectures
• Implementation of Database and cloud technologies
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/ or Azure: Operation and scaling of cloud-based solutions
• Analysis of toolchains & platforms: You will analyse existing tool ecosystems and recommend suitable GenAI tools (e.g. Copilot, Cursor, ChatOps, MCP integrations), including architectural blueprints.
• Developing and integrating AI agents to bring AI use cases into live

YOUR PROFILE

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, with strong expertise in Java/ SpringBoot and MongoDB or SQL
• Experience of a minimum of 2 years with at least one hyperscaler, in the best case GCP or Azure
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Practical experience (even in a research and development environment) with agentic AI and its core concepts

Nice-to-Have:

• Familiarity with web development concepts and integration with a frontend framework
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and working in cross-functional, collaborative teams.
• Knowledge about developing Quarkus or Kotlin
