Information Security Analyst

Role: Information Security Analyst

Location: Toronto(Hybrid)

Exp: 10 yrs

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and onboarding into the centralized access governance model
• Act as the primary governance point of contact for escalations, inquiries, and exception management
• Manage intake and triage of access-related requests, ensuring proper routing and resolution
• Ensure adherence to defined governance standards, controls, and processes for centralized access management
• Collaborate with Line of Business (LOB) teams to gather and refine requirements for access request workflows in SailPoint
• Partner with engineering teams to deliver and enhance Request Management capabilities aligned with the IAM roadmap
• Define and improve request management frameworks to enhance control effectiveness and user experience
• Establish and track governance metrics (KPIs/KRIs) and reporting for access management processes
• Identify and recommend control improvements to enhance IAM maturity and align with industry standards (e.g., NIST)
• Support regulatory compliance efforts, including reporting, audits, and control validation

Required Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ), specifically Request Management
• Proven experience in centralizing access request processes and workflows
• Strong understanding of IAM governance, access controls, and lifecycle management
• Experience working with technology/engineering teams to deliver IAM solutions
• Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into scalable IAM solutions
• Experience defining and implementing governance frameworks, KPIs, and KRIs
• Familiarity with NIST framework and regulatory compliance requirements
• Experience in business process design and IT security control implementation
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in Agile environments
