Position Description

  • We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support multiple projects and initiatives under Contract Center Desktop Fleet.
  • As part of this role, the candidate is expected to have strong Scrum Master skills
  • The candidate will work closely with all stakeholders to successfully steer project outcomes
  • The candidate will work with the squad to deliver solutions for several technological initiatives and capacities aligned to various Businesses

  • The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 7 or more years of experience as a Scrum Master and project management experience, with a proven track record of successful delivery in the Financial Services domain.


Responsibilities / Skills Required

  • Proficiency in facilitating Squad Scrum meetings to ensure they are solutions-focused.

  • A continuous improvement mindset and dedication to finding creative ways of working.
  • Ability to influence behavior without having formal organizational authority.

  • Work directly with a squad to drive performance using Agile values, practices, and processes.
  • In partnership with the Product Owner, support the squad by maintaining the backlog and facilitating Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Monitor team performance through the squad’s metrics dashboard and identify continuous improvement opportunities to help the team work smarter and more effectively.
  • Provide transparency to the Fleet Delivery Lead regarding risks, blockers, and impediments at Scrum of Scrums calls, and recommend strategies for effective and efficient operations.
  • Conduct squad assessments to ensure Agile principles and best practices are being met and achieved.
  • Partner with Product Owners to plan quarterly IBRs (Integrated Business Reviews), focusing on strategic objectives, initiatives, and capabilities based on the business roadmap, as well as prioritizing and executing modernization and hygiene work items.
  • Participate in all Squad and Fleet ceremonies, including Scrum of Scrums, IBR Planning, IBR check-ins, and Fleet Demos.
  • As the squad coach, communicate effectively and proactively, with recommendations for continuously improving the squad.
  • Ensure squad Agile trainings are completed and squad rosters maintained.
  • Ensure Jira hygiene is maintained daily on the Jira Board. Maintain existing Jira dashboards and build new informative dashboards to communicate data and drive performance improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to resolve impediments in order to meet all deadlines.
  • Experience working with Agile and deployment lifecycles and/or tracking and process management tools, e.g., JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Release/Change Management, Remedy Change Management, and others.
  • Follow the Change Management/Release process and create Change Proposals and change tasks in Remedy Change Request.
  • Monitor deployments during releases.
  • Identify and analyze opportunities and make tactical/strategic recommendations.
  • Strong skills in project management tools, including Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Visio, and SharePoint.
  • Hands-on project management approach with a proven track record of project execution.
  • Plan and conduct relevant meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.


Desired Skills

  • Experience in working on Technology projects related to the Financial Services domain
  • Knowledge of Wealth Management Analytics and Data-related financial services applications
  • Agile Expertise in Scrum principles and processes
  • Scrum Master Certification
