Senior System Engineer

We’re Hiring: Senior System Engineer – Omani Nationals

We’re looking for a Senior System Engineer to join our team and support mission-critical enterprise applications across a diverse technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for production systems
• Manage and maintain Red Hat Linux and Windows (Wintel) environments
• Administer and support Oracle WebLogic Server
• Monitor and troubleshoot Java-based applications, including performance tuning and JVM optimization
• Support Oracle databases (monitoring, basic SQL, connectivity)
• Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution
• Ensure system availability, performance, and security compliance
• Automate tasks using shell scripting or PowerShell
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for deployments and issue resolution

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in system/application support
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL), WebLogic, Java, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, and Windows Server
• Experience in production support environments 24/7
• Solid troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
• Knowledge of monitoring tools and ITIL practices is a plus
• Experience with at least one of application servers WebLogic, JBoss, and WebSphere

Preferred

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) or virtualization
• Experience with middleware Kafka, IBM MQ, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Relevant certifications (RHCE, Oracle, ITIL)
