With continued growth, we are looking for a Level 2 Network Engineer to join the team and play a key role in supporting and improving client network environments.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As a Level 2 Network Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and optimising client network environments across LAN and WAN.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Troubleshooting and resolving network incidents across routing, switching, and firewall environments
• Managing and supporting technologies across Cisco, HPE, Aruba and similar vendors
• Configuring and maintaining enterprise firewalls, including security policies and traffic inspection
• Supporting and improving TCP/IP networking, VLANs, subnetting, and routing protocols
• Delivering both remote support and onsite client support when required
• Producing clear technical documentation, including network diagrams and operational guides
• Supporting infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, deployments, and migrations

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to solution design, pre-sales discussions, and broader network architecture initiatives.

WE NEED YOU TO HAVE…..

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (OSI model, TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, routing)
• Hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies
• Experience managing enterprise firewalls
• Knowledge of core protocols such as DNS, DHCP
• Proven experience troubleshooting complex network issues in an MSP or similar environment
• Ability to work within SLAs and escalation frameworks
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Full driver’s licence and willingness to travel to client sites

IT’S NICE TO HAVE…..

• CCNP certification or working towards
• Experience with load balancing and application delivery concepts
• Exposure to data centre or WAN design
