Full-Stack JVM Engineer (Java/Kotlin + Vue.js)

We’re working with a growing software consultancy in Austria delivering projects across telco and banking clients.

Right now, they’re looking for a Full-Stack JVM Engineer to support upcoming projects, with a strong focus on backend development and modern frontend frameworks.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be working across backend and frontend systems, contributing to production-grade applications used in real client environments.

That includes:

• Building and maintaining Java/Kotlin (JVM) backend services
• Developing frontend applications (primarily Vue.js) for internal tools and client platforms
• Supporting full-stack delivery across back-office and enterprise systems
• Collaborating with internal teams and potentially end clients

What they’re looking for

• Strong experience with Java and/or Kotlin (JVM ecosystem)
• Solid frontend experience with Vue.js (Angular also acceptable)
• Ability to work full-stack, not just backend or frontend in isolation
• Experience working on enterprise applications (e.g. telco, banking, or similar)
• Comfortable joining projects mid-flight and contributing quickly

The setup

• Start: ASAP / early May
• Duration: Until end of year (likely extension)
• Location: Austria (Vienna-based client)
• Work model: Hybrid or remote possible

Language

• English required
• German is a strong plus (client-facing environments)
