For our client, one of Europe's fastest growing high-tech manufacturing groups active in vision, research, defense & security, we are looking for a Manager Product Delivery - Test & Transfer

Reporting to: VP of R&D

Mission of the role: Ensure that new sensor and camera based products are fully tested, validated, and ready for successful transfer from R&D into production.

Location: Leuven, Belgium

Your Tasks

• Responsible for leading and integrating the internal Product Delivery Group, consisting of two teams (Test and Measurement team, and Transfer to Production team)
• Define the Product Delivery strategy together with the VP R&D (including validation strategy, test automation approach, transfer to production strategy, and release readiness / definition-of-done criteria).
• Ensure that new products are properly tested, qualified, and ready for transfer into manufacturing
• Execute the strategy and ensure effective collaboration between the Test & Measurement and Transfer to Production teams
• Provide people leadership for the Product Delivery Group across multiple sites

Your Profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Approx. 10 years of relevant experience in hardware / electronics product validation, test engineering, industrialization, transfer to production, or a combination of these areas
• Proven people leadership experience, ideally in a multi-disciplinary and multi-site engineering environment
• Strong technical background in product validation, test planning, test automation, measurement setups, and transfer to production for complex hardware products.
• Industry experience with sensors, cameras, imaging or defense-related products is an advantage, but not required. Other industry experiences and perspectives are welcome
• Very good English skills
• High attention to detail, strong quality mindset, and the confidence to uphold release standards when product maturity is not yet sufficient.
