ACENSI BELGIUM is looking for his client an Security Analyst (SOC / CyberOps)

Context

The client is looking for a Security Analyst to join a CyberOps team responsible for security monitoring, incident management, and cyber risk mitigation. The role involves close collaboration with the SOC, IT support teams, infrastructure/application teams, and external providers, within a dynamic and security-driven environment.

Objective

• Ensure effective detection, analysis, and response to security incidents.

• Contribute to cyber risk reduction and vulnerability management.

• Support the continuous improvement of security operations and processes.

Responsibilities

Security Monitoring & Incident Response

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and events.

• Handle and coordinate security incidents (Level 1 to Level 3).

• Apply and follow incident response procedures.

• Collaborate with SOC and internal teams for incident resolution.

Cyber Risk & Vulnerability Management

• Support vulnerability management activities (identification, tracking, remediation follow-up).

• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of security risks.

Security Operations

• Work with tools and environments related to:

o EDR / XDR solutions.

o Threat Intelligence platforms (e.g., MISP).

o ITSM tools.

• Support security monitoring across Windows, Linux, and network environments.

Governance & Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to the implementation of security policies and procedures.

• Participate in the continuous improvement of CyberOps processes.

• Ensure alignment with security standards (ISO 2700x).

Profile Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in:

o SOC.

o Cybersecurity operations.

Technical Skills

• Incident response and SOC operations.

• Threat Intelligence (e.g., MISP).

• Vulnerability management.

• EDR / XDR tools.

• Windows & Linux environments.

• Network fundamentals.

• ITSM tools.

Knowledge

• Information security and risk management.

• Security standards (ISO 2700x).

• Azure fundamentals (especially networking).

Nice to Have

• SOC-related training or certification.

• Knowledge of privacy / DPO topics.

Soft Skills

• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.

• Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills.

Languages

• Dutch: C2 level (mandatory).
