Engineering Project Manager

The Opportunity

Join our client as an Engineering Project Manager to lead and optimize engineering activities within a vertically integrated architectural LED lighting design and manufacturing company. This role focuses on driving standardization, enhancing workflows, and fostering continuous improvement while managing a dynamic team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing and improving engineering systems (e.g., PDM databases, SolidWorks standards, BOM creation).
• Overseeing team performance, training, and coaching to drive operational excellence.
• Collaborating across departments to meet deadlines and ensure workflow accuracy.
• Monitoring and analyzing KPIs, addressing efficiency or quality concerns proactively.
• Promoting safety and innovation in all operations.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

• Leadership experience in coaching and developing teams.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, PDM systems, and BOM creation/interpretation.
• Proven ability to optimize workflows and deliver measurable results.
• Experience in LED fixture design and manufacturing is a plus.
