JOB TITLE: Project/Program Manager (Data Migration)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract Hire
LOCATION: Toronto, Ontario (2-3 times in office a week)
PAY RATE: $54-$65/Hr (T4) - $65-$80/Hr (INC)
OVERVIEW:
Project Planning and Coordination
- Creating and Updating Integration Plans: Ensuring that integration tasks are well-planned, structured, and aligned with overall project goals. This involves updating project timelines, resource allocation, and setting milestones for integration deliverables.
- Coordinating Stakeholders: Communicating with internal and external teams to ensure that integration requirements are clear and understood by everyone involved.
- Monitoring Milestones: Tracking key milestones and deadlines for integration activities. This includes managing dependencies between different workstreams and ensuring that the integration remains on schedule.
Risk and Issue Management
- Identifying Risks: Assessing potential risks related to integrations, such as technical incompatibilities, data integrity issues, or delays.
- Mitigating Risks: Developing strategies to mitigate these risks, such as creating backup plans, coordinating with internal teams to explore resolution options, and driving resolution of any risks.
- Issue Resolution: Handling any problems or roadblocks that arise during the integration process. This may involve coordinating troubleshooting activities or escalating issues to senior management as needed.
Communication and Reporting
- Stakeholder Communication: Ensuring stakeholders are regularly updated on integration progress, risks, and milestones. This often includes preparing and presenting weekly updates to management, program leads, stakeholders, and cross-functional leads.
- Internal Communication: Facilitating adhoc or weekly meetings with internal teams to ensure everyone is aligned on tasks and objectives. Regular updates may be shared through daily stand-ups, emails, or collaboration tools.
- Documentation: Keeping detailed records of integration activities, decisions, and changes for future reference. This includes maintaining project plans, meeting notes, status updates, and RAID logs. Provide overview and documentation of key decisions needed
Change Management
Change Communication: Ensuring that any changes in scope, timeline, or resources are communicated clearly and promptly to all stakeholders, and adjustments are made as necessary to keep the project on track.

You will be a part of the products & marketing organization. You must possess excellent communication skills, the ability to drive decisions and projects to completion, and enjoy working in a highly dynamic and collaborative environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Program management experience with a proven track record of delivering business value
- Managing projects for commercial software products or online services
- Experience successfully managing large programs with multiple sub-projects and project managers
- Understanding and ability to work in a matrix management environment
- Understanding the PLC process
- Outstanding organizational, detail-oriented, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Able to work well in a cross-functional environment
- Complete ownership and ability to solve problems
- Ability to be flexible with a positive attitude and learn quickly in a dynamic environment
- Ability to be productive in a fast-paced environment with a minimal direction (self-started will be a plus
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, proven ability to track and execute marketing projects Detail-oriented. Able to juggle multiple projects and tasks
- Motivates and drives others to succeed
- Interest in technology and ability to develop application/tool to automate processes is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Experience running large scale projects and portfolios of projects, excellent understanding of program and project management processes and procedures, methodologies, best practices
- Strong MS Project, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
- Understanding of systems for sharing and collaboration.
