Our client in the internet gaming industry in Ontario is seeking a dynamic Sr. Manager of Analytics and Business Intelligence to lead their analytics and BI function. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and executing a roadmap that enhances the data pipeline and reporting to ensure high levels of data integrity and accuracy across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Create and implement a strategic roadmap to advance analytics capabilities, ensuring operational efficiency and high-quality analytical outputs.
- Workflow Management: Oversee and prioritize workflow to guarantee timely delivery of analytics projects, while managing processes that support the analytics function.
- Team Leadership: Develop and mentor a high-performing analytics team, providing support and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leaders to align analytics initiatives with organizational goals, ensuring deliverables meet the needs of various stakeholders.
- Performance Management: Establish performance plans, evaluate staff performance, and recommend actions related to promotions, hiring, and training.
- Technical Expertise: SQL, Python, R Programming, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau
What We’re Looking For:
- University Degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Statistics, Operations Research, or Economics
- 7 years’ experience applying analytics techniques to business problems and leading team or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Awareness of the public and/or political environment surrounding the ongoing development of the regulated online gambling/gaming industry
- Robust knowledge of the online gaming and online sports betting industry in both Ontario and globally
- Knowledge of government and crown agency reporting relationships and accountabilities
- Demonstrated ability to examine available data, determine potential trends, and recommend actions.
- Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, preparing project plans, tracking progress, and reporting to leadership.
