DevSecOps Consultant

A technical security specialist capable of performing deep evidence-based reviews of IAM, application security, encryption, vulnerability management, and security monitoring controls. You have strong Azure and DevSecOps experience and the capability to identify non-compliances and inherent risks within a complex environment.

As a Technical Security Specialist, you are responsible for embedding security in the DevOps way of working. You drive the security-by-design approach, ensuring security is embedded early in development, rather than addressed later as a reactive measure.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing IT Guardrails issues and providing expert guidance.

• Performing SPOT checks on various teams and applications.

• Implementing strategic projects within the team, such as improving the efficiency of security processes.

• Merging the gap between security and DevOps teams by showcasing and explaining security best practices.
  
  

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in Cyber Security, IT, Risk Management, or the Banking sector.

• Proven experience with the DevOps way of working and Azure environments.

• Experience in coding and development.

Profile

• Deep knowledge and understanding of IAM, application security, encryption, vulnerability management, and security monitoring controls.

• Strong stakeholder management skills; you move easily in a complex stakeholder field, you can communicate clearly to different stakeholder groups.

• Self-starting attitude with a willingness to learn and a strong team-player mentality.

• Professional proficiency in both English and Dutch.
