Project Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex, business‑critical IT initiatives within a large enterprise environment in the energy and utilities sector. The role focuses on delivering IT projects that enable core business processes, with particular exposure to infrastructure and IT security components.

You will lead projects end‑to‑end, acting as the link between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams, ensuring alignment between business objectives, technical solutions, and governance requirements.

The assignment requires regular onsite presence (minimum 3 days per week) and close collaboration with distributed, international project teams across multiple European locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead IT projects from concept initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable IT requirements and project deliverables
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risks
• Apply established enterprise project governance frameworks and principles
• Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders across business, IT, architecture, and external vendors
• Lead geographically distributed and cross‑functional project teams
• Ensure structured documentation, progress reporting, and stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle

Required Experience & Competencies

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager preferably in enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and integration landscapes
• Proven experience delivering projects within large, complex organizations
• Experience working with change management in IT‑driven initiatives
• Ability to bridge business processes and IT delivery models
• Experience leading international and distributed project teams
• Professional proficiency in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience working with formal project governance models

Preferred Experience

• Background in energy, utilities, infrastructure, or other regulated industries
• Experience managing projects involving IT infrastructure and/or IT security components
• Vendor and supplier coordination in complex IT delivery setups
