Chief Information Security Officer

Role Overview:

Lead and strengthen cybersecurity across the organization, ensuring risk management, compliance, and alignment with business goals. Act as the main point of contact for all security matters and work closely with business and tech teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute cybersecurity strategy aligned with business needs
• Work with senior stakeholders, regulators, and external partners
• Manage cybersecurity risks and ensure compliance (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.)
• Oversee incident response and handle major security events
• Improve security processes, tools, and controls continuously
• Lead areas like AI security, data protection, application security, and infrastructure security
• Prepare reports and present security updates to leadership/board
• Build and lead a strong cybersecurity team
• Drive security awareness and best practices across the organization

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity, risk, or IT
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and regulations (GDPR, etc.)
• Experience in handling large-scale security operations and stakeholder management
• Proven leadership experience managing global teams
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar)
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
