About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (.NET / C#) to join a highly skilled consulting environment.

In this role, you’ll work on modern, custom-built systems, contributing across the full development lifecycle, from architecture and design through to implementation and delivery.

Projects typically involve building scalable backend solutions, often within cloud-based and distributed architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend systems using .NET / C#
• Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making
• Work closely with clients and cross-functional teams
• Build scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions
• Share knowledge and support team development

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with .NET / C#
• Solid understanding of backend architecture and system design
• Experience with modern development practices (APIs, microservices, cloud)
• Ability to work in a client-facing environment
• Fluent Norwegian (strong bonus) and strong English skills

Preferred Experience

• Background in a consulting or project-based environment
• Experience with Azure or AWS
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (e.g. React) is a plus
• Interest in clean code, best practices, and continuous improvement
