A Global Insurance Service provides is looking for a strong PMO Governance Manager Role.
Responsibilities

Working Hours: 9:00 - 18:00 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: 3 days work in office, and 2 days work from home
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays, Year-end and New Year Holidays, Paid Holidays
Services/Benefits: Transportation expenses up to 20,000 yen per month, plus Paid leave, plus social insurance (health insurance, welfare pension, and work-related accident insurance), Periodic health examination, and Employment insurance
Responsibilities
- Develop and or maintain a project portfolio framework, best practices, procedures and develop a roadmap that is aligned with organizational objectives
- Establish and ensure project management standards and governance across the organization
- Ensure all project management staff adhere to the project portfolio framework, processes, and procedures and deliver projects on time
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance PMO efficiency and effectiveness
- Track project progress and ensure transparency among stakeholders
- Develop good relationships with business, IT staff, and other project related stakeholders to ensure program/project governance and efficiencies
- Communicate portfolio status and project updates effectively to stakeholders
- Contribute to development of PMO best practices and procedures and develop a local roadmap and to monitor progress of the projects
- Responsible for managing key programs and projects, aligning them to business goals across the portfolio
- Minimal 5+ years of experience in IT project management with at least 2 years of experience in PMO leadership role
- Have experience with leading projects that are less than 100M JPY
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication and documentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g.MS Teams, Jira)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
