We are seeking an experienced Cisco ISE Security Engineer to join a long-term remote engagement. This role is ideal for a contractor with deep expertise in network access control, authentication, and enterprise security frameworks. Certifications are mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Cisco ISE solutions in enterprise environments
• Configure and maintain policy sets, profiling, and posture assessment
• Integrate and manage pxGrid and SGT / TrustSec frameworks
• Implement secure authentication mechanisms across the network
• Work closely with network and security teams to ensure secure access control
• Support troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement of ISE environments

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ISE
• Deep understanding of authentication protocols:
• 802.1X
• EAP-TLS
• PEAP
• MAB
• Solid knowledge of security protocols:
• RADIUS
• TACACS+
• PKI
• Strong networking fundamentals:
• Switching
• Routing
• VPN
• Wireless

Automation & Tools (Preferred)

• Experience with Python scripting
• Familiarity with Ansible for automation
