Product Owner (Autonomy & Swarming)

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Product Owner (Autonomy & Swarming) to lead the development and management of our end-to-end AI product line. This role will be responsible for shaping and executing a portfolio of intelligent autonomy solutions, initially tightly integrated with hardware platforms, and progressively evolving into advanced software-driven AI products.

You will own the vision, roadmap, and delivery of autonomy capabilities such as position hold, visual navigation, multi-agent coordination (swarming), and other AI-driven features for FPV drones, ensuring alignment with company strategy and market needs.

Responsibilities:

• Define and own the AI product line strategy, covering both hardware-integrated and software-centric autonomy solutions;
• Manage the full product lifecycle from concept to deployment and continuous improvement;
• Develop and maintain a clear product roadmap for autonomy and swarming capabilities;
• Collaborate closely with engineering (AI, software, and hardware), design, and business teams;
• Translate complex technical capabilities into customer-facing features and value propositions;
• Prioritize features such as: Position hold and stabilization, Visual navigation and perception, systems, Autonomous mission execution, multi-agent coordination and swarming intelligence;
• Ensure smooth transition from hardware-first solutions to scalable AI software products;
• Define product concept, requirements, operational scenarios, and acceptance criteria;
• Monitor product performance, user feedback, and market trends to guide iteration;
• Coordinate across multiple product variants (e.g., different drone platforms and configurations).

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager in AI, robotics, drones, or autonomous systems;
• Strong understanding of autonomy technologies, including perception, navigation, and control systems;
• Experience working with both hardware and software products;
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their practical application in real-world systems;
• Ability to manage complex product ecosystems with multiple versions and feature sets;
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills;
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to have:

• Experience with multi-agent systems or swarming technologies;
• Background in computer vision, robotics, GNC or UAV systems;
• Experience scaling AI products from prototype to production;
• Understanding of edge AI and real-time systems;
• Experience in European funding schemes, like EDF, STEP, Horizon or others.
